Powerboat Level 2

Scope:

The course is designed to meet the needs of those who use small, open powerboats in carrying out their duties at work, or for recreational activities, i.e. sailing, sub-aqua diving and water skiing.

Objective:

This course provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver.

  • Launch and recovery
  • Boat handling
  • Securing to a buoy
  • Anchoring
  • Leaving and coming alongside
  • Men overboard

Prerequisite:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Identification card or passport
  • At least one full seasons powerboat handling experiences
