Scope:

This course has been designed to meet the requirements of the ISPS Code sections A/2.1.8 and A/17.2 and is based on the guidelines of IMO Model Course 3.21.
Course is open to those who may be designated to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Port Facility Security Officer.

Objective:

After successful completion of the course the trainees will be able to undertake the duties and responsibilities as port facility security officer, ensuring the development of a Port Facility Security Assessment, implementing, maintaining and updating a Port Facility Security Plan and for liaising with Ship Security Officer and with Company Security Officer.

Note to Client:

After successful completion of the course and examination at the Harbour Office candidates will receive a Port Facility Security Officer certificate issued by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia.
