Scope:

This course has been designed to meet the requirements of STCW section II/3 and is based on the guidelines of IMO Model Course 7.03.

This course is open to students who wish to enhance their knowledge & those wishing to fulfill prerequisite for attending Master of ship up to 500 GT in navigational area 3 competency certificate.

Objective:

This course is based on the minimum knowledge required for certification of officers in charge of a navigational watch on ships of less than 500 GT engaged on near coastal voyages. Upon completion of the course a trainee will be able to perform the relevant duties expected of a mariner.

The Republic of Panama – Panama Marine Survey & Certification Services Inc.

Prerequisite:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Identification card or passport
  • 2 passport size colored photographs
  • 3 years certified sea service on deck
  • Minimum elementary school report card
  • RADAR observer certificate
  • Medical exam (hearing and sight) issued by Occupational health practice in Republic of Croatia, not older than 6 months

Note to Client:

After successful completion of the course and examination at the Harbour Office candidates will receive an Officer in charge of the navigational watch on a ship up to 500 GT in navigational area 3 certificate issued by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of Republic of Croatia.
