Scope:

This course has been designed to meet the requirements of HR section III/14 and is based on the guidelines of IMO Model Course 7.03.

Objective:

This course intends to satisfy the exam requirements for Master to 200 gross tons and fishing vessel in ZERP ( Protected ecological fishery zone).

Course Content:

• Terrestrial navigation
• Meteorology
• Maneuvering including collision avoidance
• Safety at sea
• Action of propelling and auxiliary machinery on small vessel
• Cargo and vessel handling
• English language
• Maritime law – elementary knowledge

Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia
The Republic of Panama – Panama Marine Survey & Certification Services Inc.

Prerequisite:

• At least 18 years of age
• Identification card or passport
• 2 passport size colored photographs
• Minimum elementary school report card
• 2 years certified sea service on deck (at least 1 year as rating forming a part of the navigational watch or as master of ship up to 50 GT in navigational area 5) or 24 months of sea service on public government’s ships
• RADAR observer certificate
• Medical exam (hearing and sight) issued by Occupational health practice in Republic of Croatia, not older then 6 months

Note to Client:

After successful completion of course and examination at the Harbour Office candidates will receive a Master of ship up to 200 GT in navigational area 5 and fishing vessel in ZERP certificate issued by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia.
