Scope:

The course is conducted in accordance to the requirements of sec. 6.5 of IMO Res. A.891 (21).

Objective:

This course has been specifically designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to take role of a Maintenance Supervisor on MOU.

  • Safe operation and maintenance
  • Detection of machinery malfunction and location of faults to prevent or minimize damage
  • Organize safe maintenance and repair procedures
  • Operate and maintain survival craft and launching systems and systems for fire prevention, detection and extinction
  • Prevention of pollution
  • Ensure safe working practices

After successful completion of the course and assessment candidates will receive Maintenance Supervisor MOU certification of attendance witch satisfy the training and Examination requirements for Liberian or Panamian Licenses for Maintenance Supervisor MOU.
