Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Simulator Course

Scope:

The course is conducted in accordance to the requirements of STCW regulations B-I/12 and A-V/1 and section B-I/12.40 of the STCW Code and is based on the guidelines of IMO Model Courses 2.06 and 1.06.
This course is designed for personnel with little or no experience on gas tanker operations and for personnel who have limited direct experience of LPG tanker operations.

Objective:

Apon successful completion of the course the trainees will demonstrate knowledge of the equipment, instrumentation and controls on abbr title=“Liquefied Petroleum Gas”>LPG vessels; use of equipment and systems in various cargo handling operations; safety and emergency procedures on operations onboard LPG vessels; resolution of operational problems; loading and discharging operations.
