Scope:
The HUET course is designed to improve an individual’s chance of surviving a helicopter ditching. Training includes both classroom lectures and practical application of underwater escape training and sea survival training, where participants experience a simulated helicopter ditching.
Course Content:
- Flight preparation
- Boarding a helicopter
- Preparation for helicopter ditching
- Evacuation from helicopter
- Facilitate the recovery process
- Control hazards
- Offshore facility abandonment and preparation
- Manage the survival process
- Facilitate the recovery process

Identification card or passport, medical fitness certificate not older than 3 months

A certificate of successful completion shall be issued to those participants who successfully complete the course and meet the assessment criteria.
