Scope:
This course has been designed to meet the requirements of STCW section B-VIII/2, Part 3-1.
Course provides guidance for masters and officers in charge of a navigational watch in the use of all available resources to enhance navigational safety.
Program can be tailored to specific shipping company operations.
Objective:
The trainees who successfully complete this course will be able to formulate and execute a detailed passage plan using specified bridge procedures and making optimum utilization of all available resources of personnel and equipment, apply effective communication skills within a Bridge Team, identify and respond efficiently to potential hazards and emergency situations.
