Basic H2S & BA Course

Scope:

This course is designed to advise and prepare delegates for the possible encounter of Hydrogen Sulphide in an offshore environment.
It is intended for personnel that may be required to enter H2S designated areas and who may potentially be exposed to hydrogen sulphide H2S.

Objective:

A trainee successfully completing this course will be able to identify the properties and sources of H2S and Sulphur Dioxide as well as learn how to manage risk of exposure, to define the methods and equipment used to escape from an atmosphere where H2S is present, be able to operate a personal H2S monitor in accordance with the procedures, be able to inspect, store, don, and use the breathing apparatus supplied for training purposes.
