Scope:

The course is conducted in accordance to the requirements of sec. 6.4 of IMO Res. A.891 (21).
This course is designed for participants who possess the required stability training and/or experience. 

Objective:

After successful completion of the course the trainees should have a better understanding in the theory and practical application of ship stability, particularly the stability of a mobile offshore drilling unit (MODU) and ballast control procedures for trim and list, use of information provided in the rig’s operational manual for safe operations of the MODU.

Note to Client:

After successful completion of the course and assessment candidates will receive an Ballast Control Operator MOU certificate of attendance witch satisfy the training and Examination requirements for Liberian or Panamian Licenses for Ballast Control Operator.
